"Ama-no-Iwato Shrine"

This shrine, dedicated to the deities Kushiiwamado-no-Mikoto and Toyoiwamado-no-Mikoto, is located at the foot of Mount Iwato, a sacred mountain where Amaterasu Omikami is said to have once descended.

You climb the slope using a chain to reach the shrine.
